Welcome to Keedac, as we move through May 2026 we are pleased to say we are back on track with expanding services in the Wheatbelt region. Keedac is run from its head office in Narrogin, with support staff also in Northam.
The Wheatbelt region covers an area half the size of New South Wales, and it’s a regular job explaining to funding departments that it means more than just Northam and Narrogin! At about 900 km in length, there are times when our staff have long remote journeys. Our region is a mixture of what the WA Government defines as “regional” and “remote”, so we are always lobbying for the interests of our staff and clients, to provide the service they need.
Keedac only exists because of funding received from government programs, both Commonwealth and State, and we acknowledge the support of many good people working for those. A lot of funding programs are only provided for one year, or two, though some of our programs have kept running for many years, so we are continually working on tenders for new programs.
For 2026/27 our suite of programs that we offer to clients includes:
* Commonwealth Psychosocial Support Program, funded through WAPHA
* Commonwealth funds the Empower Together program to support youths experiencing problems at home
* WA State funds IFSS, the Intensive Family Support Service, with a focus on families and turning their lives around to better cope with their pressures
* WA State funds NMBC, the Northam Mens Behaviour Change program, which we partner with Communicare to help men dealing with the pressures of change
