It’s a program addressing the existing demand for family, domestic violence services. designed to meet the specific needs of Aboriginal children and youths in the Wheatbelt region of WA. The program will complement and support existing services and activities to enable improved service delivery. Dedicated Aboriginal support workers are in Narrogin and receive training from third-party organisations such as Yorgum Healing Services who have experience in the activity in other geographical locations and aims to:

Keedac promotes the service alongside existing mental health support programs to facilitate changes in family attitudes, societal norms and the presence of positive role models by highlighting and promoting the strengths of Aboriginal people in reducing violence against women and youths through generational change.

We provide dedicated and targeted support to youths and families in Narrogin and the Wheatbelt WA) dealing with FDV experiences and deliver preventative programs to youth in Narrogin and the Wheatbelt WA

We provide support and holistic programs that are community led to address social and emotional needs of Aboriginal youths effectively, including improved referral pathways to other services

The community will be involved in yarning about developing community solutions and holistic responses with this Wheatbelt Aboriginal community, and children and families with multiple and complex needs.
