Support the Wheatbelt community!
Your donation to Keedac helps us to improve life for our Aboriginal community
Keedac the Wheatbelt Aboriginal Corporation provides support to Aboriginal people in the Wheatbelt from our offices in Northam and Narrogin
We are a best-practice Corporation making a difference to the lives of thousands of people by providing:
• Assisting Aboriginal people to train for employment. We work with TAFE to support students with Certs II/III Community Support or Mental Health
• Employing Aboriginal students and assisting them in finding employment with others
• Culturally mindful support for positive mental health, better family life, overcoming and preventing problems like depression, drug & alcohol abuse
The Keedac Board and management receive training in Foundations of Governance by the Australian Institute of Management (WA) and we are a recognized best-practice provider.
At a time when Australia has full employment, Aboriginal people are often left out since, in our region, many have not had the basic training to understand how to get and keep a good employee role. We work to assist them to build a better life and consider the lifestyle options open to them
This improves our Wheatbelt
community as a whole
